Showing It Off... New Dynon Group Products At SUN ‘n FUN

See Some New Things From Dynon, Trig, And Advanced Flight Systems

The Dynon Group will be showcasing at SUN ‘n FUN this week their new stand-alone engine monitor, TT23 transponder, SiriusXM Weather, and more.

Find us at Hangar B, Booth B018-021 April 14 – 19. SkyView HDX's Engine Monitor will be available as a stand-alone offering for E-AB/LSA aircraft with an upcoming update. When installed in this configuration, pilots benefit from a simplified, engine-focused user interface for streamlined operation. This new configuration is also the most inexpensive way to get a SkyView HDX display, for a partial panel upgrade that is fully expandable to the a complete SkyView HDX system. Pricing starts at $4,909 for a 7” display equipped for Rotax iS engines, and $5,771 for Lycoming/Continental 4 Cylinder engines. This SkyView HDX configuration is only available for experimental (E-AB/LSA) aircraft at this time.

In an upcoming experimental software update, SkyView HDX gains a suite of audio-enhancing features to help pilots manage their aircraft and ATC communications.

SkyView HDX will support the integration of select audio panels, including the PMA 450 EX-R remote audio panel available from Dynon. This update enables complete control of a full-featured audio panel directly from the SkyView HDX system. This saves valuable panel space, and includes new dedicated user interface controls in a new Audio Panel Menu, along with and status and quick-access controls in SkyView's status bar. Additionally, SkyView HDX will gain awareness and control of both Com radios when two are installed. This allows pilots to select frequencies from SkyView HDX's aircraft database for both radios, as well as quickly choose which one is depicted and controlled in SkyView HDX's status bar.

The Trig TT23 and TT23G are the next evolution in Trig compact Transponders. Available with built-in GPS for the first time, this next generation of transponders is also lighter, smaller and more compact, designed to reduce space and weight in your aircraft. The TT23 fits seamlessly into the tightest panel spaces, offering an efficient, lightweight solution that maximizes your cockpit’s real estate.

Coming this summer is high-resolution, satellite-delivered weather from run-up to landing from SiriusXM Aviation and Advanced Flight Systems. SiriusXM Aviation will be available on the AF-5000/6000 Series Avionics System via the Advanced SiriusXM Aviation Weather receiver (model # AF-SXM-WX).
