Innovation Is The Engine That Drives Aviation Forward

As aviation’s traditional opening act, the 52nd Annual SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo, in collaboration with the Aero-News Network, will once again frame the year ahead with the 2026 SUN ’n FUN Innovation Preview (SnFIP)—a live news event dedicated to defining what comes next.
Innovation is the engine that drives aviation forward. New technologies, smarter designs, and bold ideas shape not only aircraft and systems, but the direction of the entire industry. The SUN ’n FUN Innovation Preview exists to focus early-year attention on the developments that truly matter, presented with clarity, credibility, and journalistic discipline.
SUN ’n FUN’s position as the aviation world’s leadoff event makes it the natural home for this effort. Combined with Aero-News Network’s over 30 years as a pioneer in electronic and live aviation journalism, the Innovation Preview serves as a trusted conduit between innovators and the global aviation community.
Program Overview
The Innovation Preview is a live, rapid-fire news broadcast featuring a curated selection of SUN ’n FUN exhibitors introducing new products, programs, or initiatives debuting in 2026. Each participating organization is given a focused presentation window—no more than five minutes—to communicate the essence and significance of its announcement.
You can view the livestream or the archived programs at www.airborne-live.net... or view it, in person at the SnF Pavilion next to the Florida Air Museum (see chart below).
The program begins with an official SUN ’n FUN 2026 Preview, outlining expectations and key themes for the upcoming expo. Individual exhibitor presentations then follow, each designed to establish context, relevance, and newsworthiness ahead of SUN ’n FUN week.
The event will air LIVE on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 1600 ET, featuring more than 20 major aviation organizations. Distribution will occur simultaneously across SUN ’n FUN, Aero-News Network, and affiliated platforms.

Distribution & Archiving
Following the live broadcast, the complete program and all individual segments will be archived and published as discrete news stories across ANN, SUN ’n FUN, YouTube, and related digital outlets. The full program will be made available free for rebroadcast, reinforcing its role as a shared industry resource.
Aero-News Network will further syndicate coverage across a wide range of digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, Roku, FireTV, and others.
